CHAMPAIGN -- As Illinois gets set to visit Nebraska Saturday, they're not quite sure which quarterback to prepare for.  Huskers starting quarterback Taylor Martinez has not yet been officially cleared to play this week.

Martinez missed Nebraska's last game against South Dakota State with turf toe, and Pelini says Martinez won't play unless he is 100% healthy.  In Martinez' absence, both Tommy Armstrong and Ron Kellogg saw action at quarterback leading the Huskers past SDSU 59-20.

Nobody will know for sure whether Martinez will be back until closer to game day, but head coach Tim Beckman is preparing as if he'll play.

"I think Taylor will play," said Beckman.  "I know there hasn't been any announcement yet.  We watched the [South Dakota State] game where the other two quarterbacks came in and played outstanding.  You know whoever is going to be at quarterback has been around that offense and has been successful doing it because they have been very, very successful."

Illinois visits Nebraska Saturday at 11 a.m.  The game will be televised on ESPNU.
