Bertrand working back from shoulder surgery

Sterling-native will be lone returning senior for Groce
CHAMPAIGN - There is a serious shortage of seniors for the Illinois basketball team next season.  In fact they will only have one senior who has ever played a minute in orange and blue.

That is Joseph Bertrand, who will be a fifth-year senior this fall.  Bertrand is back on the court trying to work his way back from offseason shoulder surgery.  He came in with guys like DJ Richardson and Brandon Paul.  Now they're gone, leaving Bertrand with one more season to finish his Illinois career strong.
