SPRINGFIELD -- A state house committee approved a "clean-up" bill for medical marijuana Tuesday. The bill would make it easier for veterans under V.A. care to get the drug if they qualify.

The current law requires the patient to have an established relationship with a doctor, which the bill's sponsor says may be difficult for veterans. The new language must still pass the state house and senate.
