CHAMPAIGN -- The Illinois women's basketball program took the first step toward turning things around in just one year under head coach Matt Bollant.  He says they have already sold 200-300 more season tickets than last year.  That is just one indication of the excitement around the program.

"If you build something special here, this community will support it," Bollant said.  "They love a winner.  They love the Illini, and this community will come out.  Look at volleyball - 7,000 fans at their game at the State Farm Center.  That's where we need to go.  And honestly the faster we go there, the better chance we're going to get the top recruits to come play for us."
