Boxing champ from Central Illinois passes away

NATIONAL -- A national legend with local roots has passed away.
NATIONAL -- A national legend with local roots has passed away. Former heavyweight boxer Ken Norton, Sr., died Wednesday in Arizona. Norton was 70.

The Jacksonville native suffered a stroke last year. Norton famously beat Muhammad Ali in1973, breaking Ali's jaw in the process. It was just the second defeat of Ali's career.
