Buy-back benefits kids & troops

DECATUR -- Trick-or-treaters may have a better place to send their candy than their bellies!
DECATUR -- Trick-or-treaters may have a better place to send their candy than their bellies! Some dentists are participating in Halloween candy buy-backs. It's through Operation Gratitude.

Monday, November 4, Corley Family Dental will buy candy from kids for $1/pound, up to five pounds. Dr. Natalie Corley says it gives kids an incentive to make healthy choices.

Corley says, along with the money, the first 50-kids will get goodie bags with treats from area businesses. The candy will be sorted then shipped overseas to U.S. troops next week.
