CHAMPAIGN -- A mural inside an area restaurant is causing controversy. Now workers at T.G.I. Friday's are getting calls to take it down. It's been there since they opened in December, but recently, Chief supporters got word some aren't too happy with the mural inside the restaurant.

It prompted them to take action on Facebook. The manager of the Chief Illiniwek page is asking people to call Friday's corporate office and show support for the picture. They also want people to stop in and tell workers the same thing. Supporters say it's all about showing Friday's it's OK to support the Chief.

A customer relations person for the company says it's been getting a lot of calls in support of the mural. A rep for the restaurant would only say the mural is up, but he wouldn't comment on the controversy surrounding it.
