SPRINGFIELD -- Anyone looking to brush up on their computer science skills could be in for a treat. An online computer challenge is meant to help people identify whether they're skilled in cyber-security.

The Department of Employment Security will host the Cyber Aces State Championship. The competition will focus on computer networking, operating systems and system administration. It could benefit people who might be in or interested in the emerging field.

Anyone can compete. If you, or someone you know, might be interested, click here to register, follow a tutorial and practice.

The quiz will be held October 15 or 16. Those who perform best will compete in a championship round beginning February 28, 2014.
