3 women accused of fraud

CHAMPAIGN -- It was an unfortunate mistake; a mistake three women are accused of using to their advantage. Police say they used a missing credit card to go on a shopping spree.

The suspects were caught on camera using that missing debit card at various Champaign businesses. You'll see the photos below. Investigators say the owner couldn't find his card on July 10th. They believe he may have left it behind and the suspects likely picked it up. It was used July 11th and 12th at Wal-Mart, Dollar General and CVS Pharmacy among others.

Police are seeking information on the identities of three women allegedly involved in credit card fraud. The victim reported misplacing his debit card, Tuesday, July 10.

On July 11 & 12, it was used by three women to make fraudulent purchases at FedEx, CVS, Dollar General and Wal-Mart. The suspects are described as two black women and one white woman.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers. You can remain anonymous and may earn a cash reward.
