CHICAGO -- While Illinois fans continue to wait for news on Cliff Alexander, John Groce is already getting to work on the Class of 2015.  On Tuesday Groce landed a verbal commitment from Chicago (Simeon) 4-star forward DJ Williams.

Williaims is a 6' 7'' small forward, ranked by ESPN.com as the 29th best recruit in the Class of 2015.  Many in-state scouting services say Williams is among the top 2 or 3 prospects in the state of Illinois.

He comes from the same Simeon program that sent Kendrick Nunn and Jaylon Tate to the U of I.  Williams is just a junior in high school, and he says he already plans to start recruiting other Chicago stars to the U of I.
