A fire destroys a farm house

A farm house caught fire this afternoon.
TUSCOLA -- A farm house caught fire this afternoon.

It happened about half way between Tuscola and Villa Grove on County Road 1450.

It took a while to get to the scene because of the weather. In fact a snow plow had to clear the roads in front of the fire truck.

By the time firefighters arrived, the farm house was fully engulfed.
An engine and tanker froze up from the cold.

One person was transported to the hospital for having smoke in the lungs.
