DECATUR -- A Central Illinois animal shelter is competing for a national title, and it needs your help. Decatur and Macon County Animal Control and Care Center has entered the Rachel Ray 100 K Challenge.
It's a competition in which hundreds of shelters around the country are competing. The shelter with the most votes online wins $100,000. Money the Decatur Animal Control says will help it save the lives of animals all over the city. Voting ends Monday.
