FARMER CITY -- It's a milestone not many can claim.
FARMER CITY -- It's a milestone not many can claim. Tuesday, a couple celebrated their 78th wedding anniversary. Don & Mary Olson got married on this day in 1934.

They're both 96-years young and still living at home. They retired from farming in 1980. It's how they met.

Don saw Mary holding a cornstalk and asked her out on a date. They had two children together and lived in the area for more than 30-years.

The Olson's say the key to a long, happy marriage is to have faith and a good laugh. The couple says they'll celebrate their anniversary like any other day, spending it together with family.
