Buckeyes hand Illini 5th straight loss 62-55

Illinois' leading scorer Rayvonte Rice was held scoreless for the first time in his collegiate career (84 games) as the Illini lost to Ohio State 62-55 Thursday night in Columbus. The loss was Illinois' fifth straight in the conference play. Joseph Bertrand led the way for Illinois with 19 points. Nnanna Egwu broke out of his slump with ten points, his first points in three games. Illinois (13-7, 2-5) will carry a five-game losing streak on the road to Indiana Sunday.
