NATIONAL -- A report from the White House says climate change could change farming in the Midwest. In the third U.S. National Climate Assessment, the Obama Administration says we should expect more sever weather, but more crop yields. That's because growing seasons will get longer in the next few decades.

But while that may sound like good news, the report warns more bad weather means productivity could go down. Climate change could also bring more heat waves, higher humidity and worse water quality.
