CHAMPAIGN -- Several downtown business owners are banding together to help a new company get off the ground. The owner of Plant Mode wants to set up on Washington Street where the old B-Lime store was.

It's been raising money to get it started. Now, other nearby businesses are pitching in.

The Furniture Lounge and Mike and Molly's Bar, are helping raffle off this terrarium. It's designed by Plant Mode which will be a plant and home goods store. Owners want to open in September.

The owner of Mike and Molly's, Michael Murphy, says he remembers how tough it can be starting from scratch. Murphy says, when it comes to business, the more variety, the better.

Raffle tickets are $5 each, available at the Furniture Lounge and Mike and Molly's. The drawing is Thursday.
