Convicted sexual predator who fled, back in custody

DEWITT COUNTY -- A convicted sexual predator has been taken into custody in Indiana and is awaiting extradition back to DeWitt County.
DEWITT COUNTY -- A convicted sexual predator has been taken into custody in Indiana and is awaiting extradition back to DeWitt County. March 3, 28-year old Duane Thackrey, of Bloomington, was convicted by a jury, on multiple counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child and aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

Thackrey went on the run half-way through the defense case of his trial. US Marshals took Thackrey into custody in Elwood, IN, this week. He's scheduled to be sentenced in April. He faces 33 - 314 years in prison.
