CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - Illinois junior Aaron Cosby is hoping to make a big impact this season, now that he is eligible to play after transferring in from Seton Hall.  Cosby actually spent some time in China last month playing against some of the local teams from the Far East.

Cosby is back on campus now after playing a nine-game basketball tour in China.  He averaged about 20 points and four rebounds per game.  He also shot better than 35% from 3-PT range.  Cosby is hoping that trip will propel him to a strong Illini debut this season.

"It was a great experience getting back on the court, kinda shaking the rust off, getting back in a competitive setting," Cosby said.  "It's been awhile me sitting out a year, so I feel like I learned a lot - some things I can bring back and work hard on over the summer, and take into the season with me."

And when describing the food in China, Cosby had just one word.

"Different.  I don't want to talk bad about it.  It was different."
