Dans' pitcher sings national anthem

DANVILLE, Ill. - He is one of the Danville Dans' top relief pitchers, but Tuesday night Cam Wysocki showed off one of his other talents. Wysocki sang the national anthem before Danville's home game against Springfield. Wysocki just finished his redshirt freshman year at Michigan, and he does a long more than just pitch and sing. He also juggles and does magic - showing there's a lot more to his game than just balls and strikes.

"It all started with my father, and he started to say 'Don't take things too seriously.  You can't take life too seriously.' And I figured that this is the best way to do it - is just to have fun no matter what I'm doing, have a great time singing - I have a great time being in front of people," Wysocki said.  "I have a great time just doing whatever I possibly can to make people laugh, smile, I don't care.  But it's always fun."

Danville won Tuesday's game 11-2 over Springfield.
