CHAMPAIGN -- Unit 4 School District turned to social media to get community feedback. Leaders wanted to know what people thought about the new Central High School, so they went to Twitter. It's a fast, direct way to get a response.

The new high school is a topic of conversation for a lot of people. So, what better way to get them answered correctly than from the district themselves?

The superintendent says she wasn't surprised by all the questions. It isn't the district's first time using Twitter. The district will store the information and review it.

Using the #AskUnit4, the superintendent, board members and students will answer questions starting at 11:30 am, Tuesday. This isn't the district's first Twitter chat. School officials hope to increase understanding between the community and district.
