Educators unveil remodeled school

DECATUR -- Educators were proud to welcome community members to Eisenhower High School for its ribbon cutting Wednesday.
DECATUR -- Educators were proud to welcome community members to Eisenhower High School for its ribbon cutting Wednesday. Students will start their spring semester there mid-January.

District 61 Superintendent Gloria Davis says the state-of-the-art facility will improve classroom learning through technology and innovation. The total cost is about $40 million including renovation, furniture and technology.

Next on the to-do list, Decatur Public Schools will work to renovate MacArthur High School. That's set to begin next year.
