Federal funds will help re-certify farmers

NATIONAL -- People looking to get re-certified as USDA Organic farmers will save some money.
NATIONAL -- People looking to get re-certified as USDA Organic farmers will save some money. The federal government has given the state AG department $270,000. The money will help growers pay for the application.

One farmer in Springfield says getting certified can be costly. Farmers looking to update their certificates could be reimbursed up to 75% of costs or as much as $750.
