CHAMPAIGN -- Officials determined an early morning fire is a case of arson. Crews responded to the 600-block of Doisy Lane about 7:40 am.

One owner was home at the time of the fire. No one was hurt.

A pile of items was burning in the driveway of the home. The exterior of a garage and garage door sustained minor fire damage.

Authorities think this is an isolated incident and not a random act. The case is now in the hands of the police department for further investigation.

CHAMPAIGN -- Authorities are investigating the cause of a suspicious fire. It started in a garage in the 600-block of Doisy Lane about 7:30 am.

One person was home at the time. No word on injuries or the extent of the damage.
