The organization says last year, it served nearly 700 clients and answered more than 800 domestic violence calls.

Courage Connection also runs a thrift store out of Lincoln Square. It's called "Connections" and it helps raise money for the organization to provide support and shelter.

Courage Connection needs volunteers Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Two-hour shifts are requested and a weekly commitment is preferred.
Groups of up to five can also be accommodated.
If you'd like to learn more about volunteering, you can email the volunteer coordinator at volunteer@courageconnection.org or call (217) 352-7151.
