Governor wants $10 minimum wage

SPRINGFIELD -- Governor Quinn is making a push to get some workers more pay.
SPRINGFIELD -- Governor Quinn is making a push to get some workers more pay. He wants the minimum wage to go up nearly $2.00. It's currently $8.25. He wants to make it $10.

If it happens, Illinois would have the nation's fourth highest minimum wage. Ten years ago, Illinois joined eleven other states in boosting its minimum wage above the then-national standard of $5.15.
