ILLINOIS -- One group is pushing hard for a gas tax to fix the state's aging roads and bridges. It's starting a letter writing campaign to lawmakers to get them on board. The Transportation for Illinois Coalition wants another four cents per gallon tacked on. That would add nearly $2 billion to the pot for construction.
