Hollywood livens up Lincoln history

SPRINGFIELD -- History buffs and Hollywood enthusiasts have a new reason to visit the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum.
SPRINGFIELD -- History buffs and Hollywood enthusiasts have a new reason to visit the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum. Friday marks the grand opening of the "Lincoln -- History to Hollywood" exhibit at Springfield's Union Station.

WCIA-3 got a preview of the display a day early. The sets, costumes and props all appeared in Steven Spielberg's film Lincoln. They're all on loan from Dreamworks.

Tickets will be on sale at the museum for $5. Children can visit for free. We're told, Spielberg won't be there Friday, but could visit later on. The display will be up for several years.
