Illini football releases 2014 non-conference schedule

Illinois first four games feature three home games, trip to Washington.
Illinois football announced its 2014 non-conference schedule on Monday. The Illini will open against Youngstown State on August 30th. On September 6th, Western Kentucky comes to town. Then Illinois travels to Seattle to take on Washington on September 13th, the second leg of a home-and-home agreement between the Illini and Huskies. Illinois closes out the non-conference slate with Texas State on September 20th.

Game times have not been announced yet.

As for Illinois' Big Ten slate, that is also to-be-determined. But with the recent division realignment, Illinois is scheduled to play, Iowa, Minnesota, Northwestern, Purdue, Nebraska and Wisconsin. The Illini will also play two teams from the East division.
