CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - Illinois will face Indiana for the third time this year when they square off in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament Thursday (11 a.m., BTN).  The Illini will be the No. 9 seed, but they come in as one of the hottest teams in the league.

Illinois has won four of it's last five games heading into the postseason.  It's hard to believe this is the same team that lost eight straight games earlier this year, but head coach John Groce says that team is a thing of the past.

"When we went through that streak, that wasn't fun," Groce said.  "But we were going to respond the right way, and we needed to stay the course.  Our goal was to be playing our best basketball heading into season three.  I think we have done some pretty good things, and I think our guys are starting to figure some things out, and we've got some momentum.  I clearly thing we are playing the best that we have played all year."
