CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - It has been a long time coming for Illinois - to finally see some positive results from all their hard work.  That is exactly what they have heading into Wednesday's game at Nebraska (8:00 pm, BTN).

Everyone can finally stop talking about the losing streak now.  Instead the Illini are going for their second straight win as they try to work their way out of last place in the Big Ten.  The guys say getting that first win in a month is more of a relief than anything, and now they can focus on building from it in Lincoln.

"It's good to get that," said senior Jon Ekey.  "Every game is the same to us.  They're all worth one, so just keep going for the next one."
