Despite President Kennedy signing the Equal Pay Act more than 50  years ago, women still only make 77 cents to every man's dollar.

Ann Callis, a democrat running for the 13th congressional district, is urging lawmakers to vote yes for the Equal Pay Act, and to raise the minimum wage.

The candidate sat down with WCIA 3's Cynthia Bruno to talk about why she thinks these issues are so important.
