CENTRAL ILLINOIS -- Judges in Central Illinois say, as soon as a county has the "go ahead," they're ready to marry same-sex couples in court. The Sixth Judicial Circuit says it follows the county clerk's decision on whether to issue licenses early.

Judge Dan Flannell says its their duty to uphold the law, unless a judge has a religious or personal problem with same-sex marriage. Flannell says he would be surprised if any judges had that issue in his circuit, but since there are 900 judges around the state, anything is possible.
