Library grant to benefit visually impaired

ILLINOIS -- People who are visually impaired will have access to more resources at some libraries in the state.
ILLINOIS -- People who are visually impaired will have access to more resources at some libraries in the state. It's giving out more than $1 million for talking books and books written in braille. The Illinois State Library, in Springfield, is among the grant recipients.

A spokesperson for the Secretary of State says about 150,000 people in Illinois have some sort of visually impairment. About 29,000 are taking advantage of the resources.
