Making the best of the snow storm

The blowing snow and blistering winds, didn't stop people from heading out the door today.

Whether it was jogging through the snow or sled riding a few made the best of the snow.

Photo journalists, Aubrey Morse and Jeff Samson, caught up with those who braved the harsh weather for some winter fun.

Ruth Aguilera: "It's a beautiful morning, it's the beginning of the year!"

Gulia Bello: "We love running and running in this type of weather, it's exciting, why not!"

Gabby Ronk: "I haven't gone sledding in about three years. It's pretty snowy out, so i just decided to go sledding."

Nolan Ronk: "We're supposed to go back today, back to atlanta, but all the planes have been cancelled."

Jessica Monson: "I thought, take advantage of the moment."

Lucas Davis: "It kind of hurts my face, but i think i can do it."

Ruth Aguilara: "it's gonna get really cold tomorrow and Tuesday, so we might as well get ahead of the game."

Jessica Monson: "Layer up! Some thicker socks and you're probably good to go."

Lucas Davis: "I've been in worse"
