CHAMPAIGN COUNTY -- A Champaign man is found not guilty by reason of insanity. In March, Aaron Munds tried to strangle an Urbana woman. He said to her, "I am the Son of Satan and I was sent to kill you."

Munds will be sent to a state mental health facility where doctors will determine whether or not he needs inpatient care. A review of his case is scheduled for August 1.

CHAMPAIGN COUNTY -- A Champaign man is charged with attempted murder. 40-year old Aaron Munds knocked on a woman's door in Thomasboro saying, "I was sent to give this to you." He had a lottery ticket in his hands.

Munds then barged through the door and said, "I'm the son of Satan and I was sent to kill you." He began choking the woman. He's being held on $2.5 million bond and is under a suicide watch.
