CHICAGO -- You don't always have to finish first to be an inspiration. This man is proof of that. Maickel Melamed was the final runner to cross the finish line of the Chicago Marathon.

The Venezuelan man suffers from muscular dystrophy. He finished the course in about 16-hours, 45-minutes.

The determined runner was tired after crossing the finish line but shared an inspirational message. He was one of more than 40,000 runners to participate in Sunday's race.
