Critics say it's unfair to medical marijuana patients because there may still be traces of the substance in their blood, even though they may not have used for a few days. But, law enforcement says new rules would be too tough to police.

The bill would set limits on the level of "allowed marijuana influence" similar to how alcohol has a legal limit. It would only protect drivers will a valid medical marijuana permit.
