Motorcyclist killed in crash

MCLEAN COUNTY -- A motorcyclist killed in a collision died from multiple head, neck and chest injuries. 33-year old Brian Coone was pronounced dead at the scene.

It happened near North Main and Ziebarth Road in Hudson Wednesday morning. Authorities don't know why he crashed into a pole.

A toxicology test has been ordered and investigators are trying to determine Coone's whereabouts before the accident. He was not wearing a helmet.

HUDSON -- One man was killed in a single motorcycle accident. It happened about 5:40 am, Wednesday, near North Main Street and Ziebarth Road.

33-year old Brian Coon, of Bloomington, was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities don't know why Coone's vehicle left the roadway and struck a pole, but they do think it happened earlier than when the wreckage was discovered.

An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon. Coone was not wearing a helmet.
