DANVILLE -- Leaders at the Laura Lee Fellowship House say they need your help. A large portion of its funding was just cut. The non-profit has services and classes for seniors and young adults, along with an after-school program. They found out last week they wouldn't be getting a grant from the Danville United Way.

The group says Laura Lee hadn't been meeting goals or expectations, but the organization is determined to keep programs going. Executive director Alice Payne says it costs about $180,000 each year to keep it up and running. She's confident they'll get funding back from the United Way next year.
