People vs. Big Bad Wolf at Rantoul's Eater Junior High

A classic story with a twist is coming to Rantoul's Eater Junior High.
J.W. Eater Junior High School presents “The People v. B.B. Wolf” at 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 25, and 2 p.m. Saturday, April 26 in the Eater gym. The play is written by Jim Brigleb.

Thirteen-year-old Bethany Flassig plays Red Riding Hood, who will testify about the death of her grandmother.

Ben Johnston, a high school student, plays the part of the wolf.

People attending the play are asked to bring canned foods for the local food pantry. A 50/50 drawing is also planned for the autism walk scheduled Sunday, April 27.

Other play parts are held by Grace Hanson (Portly) Tuscany Vandergriff (Jane Q. Expert), Amanda Hernandez (Suey), Aubry Strong (prosecutor No. 2), Sabrina Bunting (defense counsel No. 1), Silvana Vandergriff (Lone Wolf), Katie Johnston (Mayor Huffenpuff), Simon Walker (Judge Mental) Bailey Coleman (Biff Blairital) Jillian Rasch (prosecutor No. 2) and Lyndsay Greenwood (Wilbur).

The play is directed by Jessica Holmes and Harriet Hinderer. Karen Hughes is drama assistant.
