CHAMPAIGN -- Police are looking for two more people involved with a deadly shooting last week. Family members said Wednesday, they expected more arrests in this case. That's what they're hoping for and police are getting closer.

Micah Hopkins, who is 30-years old, is wanted for aggravated discharge of a firearm and being a felon in possession of a firearm. Investigators are also looking for 38-year old Paul Craig, for being an armed habitual criminal and also having a firearm as a felon. Both are from Champaign.

Paul's brother, Devon Craig, has already been arrested in connection with the murder. Police found him in Chicago last week. Investigators say those men had a part in Allen Redding's death last week. Now a big concern is payback.

"We just don't want people taking the law into their own hands," said Champaign Police Lt. Robert Rea. "We don't want people retaliating or trying to get even, seeking people out on their own. We want information and we want help by providing us with information so we can take care of the crime aspect of this."

The shooting happened in the 1500-block of Hedge Road last Tuesday. Investigators say 26-year old Redding died at the hospital from gunshot wounds. So far, none of the suspects have been charged with murder. Police say each of them could face more charges and there may be more people involved. Investigators say they're working to bring justice to Redding's family and the community.

"I feel bad for the family, not getting closure on this right away," said Rea. "I would love to be able to identity the person and lock them up and put them away the very next day, but unfortunately it doesn't work that way. We have a lot of information and the community has been very helpful with us on this."

Investigators say they're concerned about this weekend, since it's the Fourth of July and fireworks can sound like gunfire. They say they hope they don't hear either one, unless they are the legal fireworks at the Champaign County Freedom Celebration.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers.
