ILLINOIS -- Owning a shop to sell medical marijuana in the state won't be cheap.
ILLINOIS -- Owning a shop to sell medical marijuana in the state won't be cheap. The state's putting together the rules and regulations. Applicants need at least $400,000 in liquid assets. They'll have to pay another $60,000 to apply, plus they'll have to pass a strict background check. Only 60 stores will be allowed in the state. Applications could be available later this year.
