URBANA -- More students are walking to school. Leal Elementary launched its Walking School Bus program Tuesday. It's all about encouraging a healthy and safe route to class.

Parents are leading groups of kids to school and students get a chance to walk with friends. Organizers say they hope the Walking School Bus will help kids learn more about their neighborhood and traffic safety.
