ILLINOIS -- People with disabilities who traveled to the state Capitol Monday to protest ended up in handcuffs. They were protesting the looming budget cuts inside the rotunda. Capitol police arrested them and removed them from the property because they refused to leave after-hours.

The protestors say they didn't mean to cause any trouble, they just fear programs like home healthcare will be lost because of budget cuts. Police say no charges will be filed.
