Putting and bowling for CF

SAVOY -- A sea of orange shirts filled a mini golf course and bowling alley. People came to support six-year-old Rylee who was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis when she was four months old.

People from around Champaign County came together to raise money for her cause. Her family came up with the idea for the fundraiser five years ago and has done it each year since.

"A lot of monetary donations come in of people we don't even know, so it's just awesome to look out and see all the orange shirts, and it makes us feel really loved and supported," said Rylee's mom, Tenaya Reifseck.

Many people were miniature golfing, bowling for the cause or entering the 50-50 raffle. Last year, they raised about $10,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

This year, they surpassed that before the event even started. Organizers said they expected to raise about $20,000 this time around.
