ILLINOIS -- Governor Quinn vetoed a bill Monday.
ILLINOIS -- Governor Quinn vetoed a bill Monday. It would have made it more difficult to get a large number of records from the Freedom of Information Act. The bill let agencies charge fees for providing FOIA requests.

The governor says it penalized people wanting to learn more about their government. Those supporting it say people who submit a lot of FOIA requests cost them time and money.
