ILLINOIS -- Attorneys were in court Monday with efforts to block redistricting initiatives from the November ballot. It all comes after more than 500,000 signatures arrived in Springfield Thursday to change the rules of redistricting.

The "Yes for Independent Map Campaign" says its goal is to take redistricting out of the hands of politicians and give the power back to the people, which political experts say can happen if there are enough signatures.
