Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive

Each year, letter carriers across the country come together to feed the families they serve.
The Eastern Illinois Foodbank is joining the annual Stamp Out Hunger community food drive on Saturday, May 10th. The food drive is conducted on the second Saturday of May each year by the National Association of Letter Carriers. The Stamp Out Hunger food drive is held in 10,000 cities and towns in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and Guam. Last year, letter carriers collected 74.4 million pounds of food donations along their postal routes, feeding an estimated 30 million individuals. The campaign has collected 1.3 Bill

To contribute to Stamp Out Hunger, collect non-perishable food donations and leave them in a sturdy bag by your mailbox on Saturday, May 10th. Your letter carrier will collect the donations and deliver them to the Eastern Illinois Foodbank or in our rural communities, the local pantries.
