DANVILLE -- Kids are getting excited about learning before they head back to class. They're part of a program called Camp Invention at Danville Area Community College. Students from 1st - 6th grades are getting hands-on experience with math and science.

During the week, students will build inventions out of broken appliances. They work on their projects in groups a little bit each day. Other students played games outside. They also practiced simulations, like learning how to design a spaceship and prevent problems with pollution.
