CHAMPAIGN -- A new report looks at traffic flow for the area of North Prospect which could be the future home of the new Central High School.
CHAMPAIGN -- A new report looks at traffic flow for the area of North Prospect which could be the future home of the new Central High School. The Champaign County Regional Planning Commission looked at the site and determined the school would add more than 650 cars to the area. But, members of the planning commission say the increased traffic shouldn't cause any problems like backups or delays.

The Champaign School District asked for the study to look at all the potential sites for the new school. They couldn't comment on the report stating they hadn't seen it yet. But, even with the traffic report, some people can't seem to get past the location.

The planning commission says results from the other sites should be finished by the end of the week. Judah Christian is one of the areas being considered.

No word yet when the school district will get all the information. With a lot of debate about where the school should be built, the district is looking at a lot of factors before making any final decision.
